To mark Raymond Williams’s centenary ran a series of online events throughout the autumn of 2021. On Williams’s birthday (Tuesday 31st August), there was a rare screening of his 1970 film Border Country, directed by Nicholas Garnham for the BBC series One Pair of Eyes. This was followed by a lecture series featuring Lynsey Hanley (6th October), Daniel Hartley (13th October), and Anna Kornbluh, Madhu Krishnan, and Paul Stasi (17th November). Recordings below.
